Jazmine leaned back in her chair, attempting to balance a pencil on her nose. It had been a slow, boring day and she wanted nothing more then something to entertain her. The pencil fell off of her nose and rolled under her desk.
Failing at the balancing act, she leaned forward, placing her elbows on the desk and her head in her hands. I could always call up Benjamin. She thought to herself, her eyes fixed on the door. Of course, if she left, she would more then likely miss the chance to help someone. She didn't want that, after all, it was her job to give the people of Gotham -including every criminal- the help they deserved.

She paced back and forth.... back and forth in the hall way. Pamela Lillian Isley the very picture of student perfection in front of a psychiatrists office... what would they think... what would everyone think... she thought begining to bite her perfect nails down to nothing. She continued to pace a while longer until suddenly they came back. "I...v....y..." her eyes widened in pure fear... "Your... never.. alone... I..v...y..." She shook her head and closed her eyes. "YOU ARE NOT REAL!" she yelled and stomped her foot on the floor winning an odd look from a man who just walked down the hall. She gulped and bit her lip and stared at the door. Dr. Jasmine Bristow M.D. She wondered for a brief moment if anyone could really help her... if her sanity as weak and minimal as it yet was could truly and utterly be saved but she doubted it and yet.. here she was needing help and actually being too much of a wall flower and a coward to take the plunge and turn the know of the door or at the very least knock.
"I... v...y..... Ivy... do..not... be.. afraid...." she heard the whispers once more and shook quite visibly from them. "We... will.. always.. be with you... I...v...y..." Her green eyes we're wide and her skin cold and pale. This has to stop... I can't... it MUST STOP!!! she though her random thoughts racing so fast she wasn't sure whether she was really hearing the whispers or just the manifestations of a troubled mind.
Her thoughts went back to the first day they had begun and the rude awakening at the hospital for the second time in two weeks. They had not stopped since then and she believed that they never would. So finally out of pure fear she opened the door to the office and ignoring the protests of the secretary as she walked pasted opened the main door to the Doctors office and marched in... "I NEED YOUR HELP!" she said and sat on the couch half expecting to be escorted out of the room.

She sighed heavily and looked back to the clock. Vince would probably bring me a salad. Before she could come up with a rebutle to herself, her door swung open, scaring her half to death, causing her to jump to her feet.
A tall red head stormed through her door, taking a seat on her couch. "I NEED YOUR HELP!" Jazmine's eyes widened, amazed at the entrance. Her secretary ran in, phone in hand. "No need to call the authorites," She told her, waving her hand for her to 'shoo'.
She rolled her chair over to the couch and took a seat in front of the woman, holding on to her clipboard tightly. She could tell something was seriously wrong with her. Had she met her breaking point? She patted the womans hand and smiled. "Tell me everything, dear."

Pam hardly noticed the small fact that she had just frightened her potential savior. "No need to call the authorities," once she heard that she calmed slightly... but only slightly as sudden screams filled her ears. She looked up and though she saw some dead flowers or freshly cut flowers if you want to call them that in the room. The scnet was intoxicating bu the screams where driving her up the wall to the point of covering her ears for a few minutes and closing her eyes.
As the screams faded she slowly opened first one eye and then the other. She felt a hand pat her own and she just stared at it momentarily. "Tell me everything, dear." She looked up as kind eyes and a almost sweet smile looked her over. "For one thing.. is everything I tell you confidential?" she asked first though her voice was shaky and she was visibly fearful she... for once did not stutter.
Then she lay her head back and closed her eyes pushing the voices from her head... "I...v...y... you ... are... never... alone...."She bit her lip and looked over at the woman. "Maybe I should start with my name and occupation first..." she said sighing. "I am Pamela Lillian Isley... Master's student of Botanical Chemistry and Toxicology at Gotham U under the supervision of Dr. Woodrow..."

Her eyes met the woman's. She could tell that she had relaxed a bit, which relieved her quite a bit. She sat back in her chair and waited. "For one thing...is everything i tell you confidental?" She smiled and flipped over her clipboard, revealing little drawings of the Joker and Batman. "I don't take notes, nor do i record things. I'll remember everything you tell me. The clipboard is for show. No worries."
Jazmine watched as the woman laid her head back on the couch. She made mental notes of all of her movements and habits. She noticed the woman bite her lip. She's nervous. She thought to herself. Their eyes met again as she began to speak. "I am Pamela Lillian Isley...Master's student of Botanical Chemistry and Toxicology at Gotham U under the supervision of Dr. Woodrow..."
"Well, Pamela," she said, sitting upright, a wide smile across her face, "you sound like you have a lot going for you." She leaned forward, resting her elbow on her knee. "What can i help you with?"

She sighed softly and placed a hand under her chin. "It's not really simple to explain..." she began not really sure where she was going with it. She was fearful of what her friends would say... what people would think of her. She had already frightened Selina and was quite thankful she had not scared the girl away that day.
"Well when I got the internship I was actually quite thrilled... a chance to work with a real genius in the field... you know..." she said with an almost innocent glee. Just then her cell phone began to vibrate. Pam immediately froze and took it out of her pocket. Once again it was Dr. Woodrow... she gulped and hung up on him. "I'm sorry... i think I lost my train of thought..." she shook her head and bit her lip once more.
She then smiled wearily and continued with the story. "He began doing some... experiments and asked me to be part of a mayor discovery... I..." she let the words just fade not really sure what she would think should she continue with the story. Pam was bit fearful of what was happening to her and did not really know how people would react should she not only tell them but show them just exactly what she could do.

Jazmine kept a smile on her face, attempting to reassure Pamela that things would indeed be alright. She could tell she was struggling to get her story out, and waited patiently. Pamela stopped, pulling out her cell phone. Jazmine sat quietly and narrowed her eyes at the screen. She put the call phone back and bit her lip again.
Jazmine repositioned herself, leaning back in her chair. She wondered who it was that called her. It obviously made her very uncomfortable and fearful. "He began doing some... experiments and asked me to be part of a mayor discovery... I..." She seemed to drift off.
Jazmine noted the fear in her eyes and smiled. "Don't be afraid to tell me anything, Pamela." She stood up and walked over to the couch, taking a seat next to her. She kicked off her heels and placed her legs underneath her, cocking her head to the side and smiling widely. "I wont judge you."

A small smile appeared on her features just briefly. This doctor .. this woman seems to have a soothing quality to her nature that made Pamela want to tel her everything. Though if she would or not was yet to be seen. She bit her bottom lip and looked at her before continuing with her story. "Well... the experiments consisted of mixing plant based toxins with human DNA in order to produce toxins that could not only cure but cause major diseases." she though it best to explain before saying what had happened to her.
She sighed and though a bit before continuing ... "The doctor though I'd be the perfect... specimen to try these things on.. and they.. or rather I ended up in the hospital twice... the doctors are still amazed I'm walking considering the amount of toxins in my system we're supposed to have killed me..."she sighed and shook her head once more.
"He keeps calling... insisting... and then the other things began to happen and I believe they have affected my mind if not my nerves.. I'm scared of being alone.. I feel paranoid all the time and I really did not know what else to do... nor who to turn to..." she said sounding as defeated as she felt and looked considering she had not slept a full night in days. ooc//gah short.. better next one I promise...

She sat quietly, waiting. She knew how hard it was to talk about problems, more so when the person was fearful of the outcome. She was positive it would take a few moments for Pamela to speak up. Her eyes widened as Pamela began explaining the experiments. She was never any good at anything science related, but she was smart enough to know that her story was going in a bad direction.
"The doctor thought I'd be the perfect... specimen to try these things on.. and they.. or rather I ended up in the hospital twice... the doctors are still amazed I'm walking considering the amount of toxins in my system we're supposed to have killed me..." Jazmine's smile faded, her eyes narrowed. She didnt mean to look horribly at Pamela, she was more upset with the doctor. How could anyone test those kind of things on other people? She kept her thoughts to herself, remembering that she lived in Gotham City and no one really cared about anyone else, as Pamela continued.
"He keeps calling... insisting... and then the other things began to happen and I believe they have affected my mind if not my nerves.. I'm scared of being alone.. I feel paranoid all the time and I really did not know what else to do... nor who to turn to..." Jazmine, noticing Pamela's weary look, placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling. "Whatever's happening to you, I'll help. We can get through this." Her smile was fake, mind you, knowing there was almost nothing she could do except listen, but her words were true. She could never give up on any of her patients. She pulled her hand away and set it in her lap. "Have you tried filing a harassment charge on him?" She asked, almost positive it wouldnt do any good. She thought on it for a moment and then smiled. "If you're afraid to call the authorites, there are always other ways."

Pamela shook her head... she was quite certain no one would ever be able to help her and that was the honest to god truth in her mind. She just seriously wanted some off the problems off her chest. She smiled at the doctor though weary of what was happening the flowers still screamed in her head and she just wanted to get away from the madness but how can you get away from the very living beings that let you live...
She blinked as the words harassments and charges danced in her head. "Do you really think tat would be of any consequence in this deranged city?" she replied sounding much harsher than what she had intended. "Nothing swill change... he will continue with the calls and I will be forced to endure whatever it is I am going through on my own..." She looked up and around not really sure if there we're any windows in the small office or not but she suddenly found herself feeling trapped and condemned... I need sun... I need air.... I need...
Other ways? her head snapped back at the woman who sat next to her. Trying to help her... to save her... No one can save you I...v...y... you are o..n..e.. of... u..s... she heard the whispers once more and almost wanted to give in to their demands... to become their savior their voice in a world where everything else was lost. She pushed those thoughts away from her current situation and looked at her repeating the words...
"Other ways?" Pam tilted her head slightly curious as to what she could propose. "What other way is there, the authorities will do nothing.... no one will do nothing he will just find a new guinea pig and I will be left to rot."

She watched the poor girl struggling - she couldnt do anything about that except open up the blinds over the small window behind them. She reached over the couch and moved the blinds out of the way, unlocking the window and opening it. "Maybe some air might help." She sat back down smiling.
"What other way is there, the authorities will do nothing.... no one will do nothing he will just find a new guinea pig and I will be left to rot." Her smile soon turned into a grin as she stood up and walked back to her desk. She reached into a drawer and pulled out a black cell phone. She quickly rushed over to the door and locked it. She looked down at her phone, surprised by how many missed calls she had, and searched through her phonebook.
After finding the appropriate number she looked back to Pamela, "What are you willing to do to fix this problem?"

She noticed the window and smiled as the sun and air hit her and made her feel all better. She giggled slightly though the voices where louder now she was able to push them away with ease just content that now there was something to keep her mind occupied and away from them. The sun... such a small fragile thing as air and sunlight and yet we humans are hell bent in destroying the very fabric of what keeps us alive... she thought.
Pam hardly noticed the shift in weight as the woman stood from her place and moved swiftly towards her desk. She batted her eyes slightly and followed her movements as she rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a black cell phone. I am here... pouring my heart out and she's making a call... she thought grimly before she saw her lock the door.
Curiosity clear in Pam's features as she sat and asked what she was willing to do to fix her problem. A mischievous smile... no make that a wicked grin started to form on her already pale features. She was fearful yes... but revenge was key to her healing... at least that was what the voices kept insisting n and for once she decided to listen to them. "Anything..." she her simplistic reply though the way she said it spoke volumes of what dreadful thing she wished to befall the dear doctor.

She noticed a grin form across Pamela's features and grinned as well. As soon as she said 'anything,' the phone was up to her ear. She tapped her foot on the ground - she couldn't stand waiting. A sigh escaped her lips as she brought the phone down. "No answer." She said, more so talking to herself then Pamela.
"No worries however," she smiled, holding the phone to her ear yet again. "There's more then one number to try." She moved over to her chair, taking a seat, and kicking her feet up on her desk. She jumped, "Hi!" She blurted out much like a small child. She started biting her finger nails - it was a nervous habit she couldn't get rid of - and listened to the voice on the other end.
"I could use your help." She smiled widely, showing almost all of the teeth in her mouth. "Work." She waited a few more moments and then hung up. She looked to Pamela, a genuine smile across her face, "Everything is going to be okay now."
